Is this a Dream?

Have you ever hoped for the perfect guy?
The guy who meets your standards, makes you laugh, smile,
The guy who would be there for you and love you,
For you?

Have you ever hoped for the perfect girl?
The girl whose style of dress says,
"My body is a treasure, and I am saving it for you",
The girl whom you know will never cheat on you?

I'm sure most of you, if not all of you,
Have hoped for someone like that.
Most of you got that special person;
Your dream has come true.

I met the perfect guy,
In the best high school in the world.
I remember praying for a boyfriend such as him years ago,
And I can't believe the Lord answered my prayer.

Is this a dream?
Will I wake up in a cold sweat?
I'm waiting for the voice of my dad or a tap on the shoulder
To wake me up.

But it never comes;
This isn't a dream.
This is REAL.
All of us must feel like that after we meet the perfect someone.

The guy I've met,
He's a knight in shining white armor.
Why white armor?
White symbolizes "purity", and I compare him to that.

He's had a rough past;
He says he's fighting to keep it off his mind;
He says he'll fight until he wins;
He says he'll fight just for me.

I also had a rough past;
I am fighting to keep it off my mind;
I'll fight until I win;
I will fight just for him.

I love him;
He loves me;
We're in a great, pure relationship;
Can you be in a great, pure relationship, too?
