I'll sleep tonight but the war's far from over,
Tomorrow is no guarantee,
If I don't return from this life of a soldier,

As a poet I'll take every opportunity to
take the misconstrued word we know as beauty,
and make you see it the way God sees,
who defines it perfectly,

As we've grown we've relied on what we see

Sometimes it may seem she's against you.

Her only aim is to love and admire.

She will struggle just so that you are not deprived.

She will ground you and pick you up when needed.
As long as you are happy and content her job is completed.

Constructed to protect and provide.

If it was good bye, we'd never see each other again.

He Was Just a FakeI asked if I could sit down next to him in the bus, and he said he didn't mind. That was the day he and I grew close...

We've been friends for a year, now. I always liked him and viewed him as a brother since the day I met him. He welcomed me and we talked about loads of things.

05. OutsidesEveryone notices the physical features of a person. Let me tell you a story, a cycle that happens in everyday life to everybody.

For some, girls are lucky. They have smooth skin, slim figure, pretty smile, pretty eyes, and pretty legs. They're adored by everyone and people want to be like her.

There aren't many pretty girls out there who have great personalities. Most girls tend to bully and judge others, thinking they're better than everyone else, and thinking the world revolves around them.

I'm not one of those girls. I have pimples, kinda thin, decent eyes, and a few crooked fingers. There are pretty girls at the school I go to, but mos

Ode To My Eyes

The only beauty of my eyes is of what it allowed me to see,
Such as nature's incomparable color green,
And the skies pacifying color blue,
But the most beautiful thing I've seen is you.

When I saw me in your eyes,
I saw a reflection of eyes that were 7 times better than mine,
But then I saw that the reflection was mine,
That's when I realized you make me shine a different light through my eyes.

When we made that contact eye to eye,
I couldn't stop seeing from time to time,
You're the blessed figure that God and my eyes allowed me to see,
You're the reason I made this ode to my eyes.

Another poem my boyfriend did. :D It's the shortest one he's made, and this was before we were actually together. It was funny because he told me he found the "most beautiful thing" and he said it was me. :heart: And my favorite number, 7, is in there too! I was like 0.0... That's interesting! :XD: Anywaaays, I won't babble about my boyfriend anymore. :P Enjoy the poem! :)
